Yokensha -妖絹社- è stata fondata come azienda fittizia quando Chobon si è iscritto al dipartimento di tessile di un'università d'arte.
Spinta dalla nostalgia per l'epoca in cui l'industria della seta grezza giapponese fioriva e l'artigianato prosperava, ho iniziato il mio lavoro creativo con "Chobon", la fata della seta, come personaggio principale.
L'ispirazione per la creazione della Foldable BAG 3 è nata dal mio interesse per il design delle borse, alimentato da mio padre, che si dedica alla lavorazione della pelle per hobby e dà vita ai miei progetti.
— Perché una sola persona possiede così tante borse?
Le ragioni sono molteplici, ad esempio per abbinare un look alla moda o per poter contenere diverse quantità di oggetti.
La borsa pieghevole BAG 3 si abbina facilmente a diversi stili di moda. Anche da piegata, non si appiattisce completamente come una borsa della spesa riutilizzabile, mantenendo una presenza discreta che la rende perfetta come regalo. Il "3" nel nome deriva dal design stesso, ma racchiude anche il significato nascosto di "la terza borsa".
Essendo realizzati a mano, ognuno è un pezzo unico.
In futuro, spero di poter offrire opzioni semi-personalizzate con pietre portafortuna o con le vostre perle di pietre energetiche preferite.

Yokensha -妖絹社- was founded as a fictional company when Chobon enrolled in the textile department at an art university.
Driven by a longing for the nostalgic era when Japan’s raw silk industry flourished and handicrafts were thriving, I began my creative work with “Chobon,” the silk fairy, as the main character.
The inspiration for creating the Foldable BAG 3 came from my interest in bag design, sparked by my father—who does leatherwork as a hobby—bringing my designs to life.
— Why does a single person own so many bags?
It’s for various reasons, such as matching a fashion look or accommodating different amounts of items.
Foldable BAG 3 is easy to coordinate with various fashion styles. Even when folded, it doesn’t flatten out completely like a reusable shopping bag—it retains a subtle presence, making it perfect as a gift. The “3” in the name comes from the design itself, but it also carries the hidden meaning of “the third bag.”
Since they’re handmade, each one is a one-of-a-kind piece.
In the future, I hope to offer semi-custom options featuring birthstones or your favorite power stone beads.
