Forest Foundations - Becoming tincture OBSESSED!
Tijdens een wandeling door de bossen van Vancouver, British Columbia op onze huwelijksreis kwamen we veel paddenstoelensoorten tegen die nieuw voor ons waren. De belangstelling voor paddenstoelen begon die dag allemaal. We hebben een fotoalbum met "schimmels" gemaakt omdat ze zo mooi waren, wat leidde tot het identificeren van de paddenstoelen die we vonden, wat vervolgens leidde tot het leren over en volledig geobsedeerd raken door paddenstoelen! We vonden veel Turkey Tail paddenstoelen in onze omgeving en besloten om een tinctuur voor onszelf te maken.
In de zomer, toen de paddenstoelen schaars waren, begonnen we planten en hun identificatie en gebruik te zien en te leren kennen. Daarna oogstten we de eerste botanicals en kort daarna maakten we onze eerste St. Johns Wort Tincture!
We begonnen deze onderneming voor onze eigen gezondheid, maar met de overvloed bij de hand besloten we dat we moesten delen met iedereen die geïnteresseerd zou kunnen zijn in natuurlijke genezing. Zo ontstond het idee om een winkel te beginnen en anderen hier samen met ons aan mee te laten doen!

While walking through the forests of Vancouver, British Columbia on our honeymoon we came upon many mushroom species that were new to us. The interest in mushrooms all started that day. We created a "fungi" photo album because they were so pretty, which lead to identifying the mushrooms we found, which then lead to learning about and becoming totally obsessed with mushrooms! We found many Turkey Tail mushrooms around our area and decided to make a tincture for ourselves.
Over the summer when the mushrooms were scarce we started seeing and learning about plants and their identification and uses. Then we harvested out first botanicals and shortly after made our first St. Johns Wort Tincture!
We started this venture for our own health but with the abundance at hand we decided we should share with anyone else who might find themselves interested in natural healing. So an idea was born to start a shop and allow others to partake in this with us!
