Manche Fotos verdienen mehr als nur einen Platz im Kameraroll. Ein Haustier, das immer schon an der Tür steht, bevor man die Schlüssel abgelegt hat. Ein Großelternteil, dessen Porträt auf dem Kaminsims steht. Ein Moment, der sich als bedeutsamer herausstellte, als man im ersten Augenblick gedacht hatte.

Formery Studio nimmt diese Fotos und verwandelt sie in individuell angefertigte 3D-gedruckte Porträts – keine flachen Ausdrucke, sondern echte, physische Stücke, die Schicht für Schicht aufgebaut werden, sodass das Bild eine tatsächliche Tiefe hat, die man sehen und fühlen kann.

Individuelle 3D-gedruckte Porträts – meist Haustiere, immer persönlich

Das ist das Herzstück des Ladens: Ich nehme Ihr Foto und drucke es in 3D zu einem mehrschichtigen Porträt. Jede dünne Schicht des Drucks trägt zum Bild bei, wie es mit einem flachen Foto niemals möglich wäre. Das Ergebnis ist ein Kunstwerk mit echter Tiefe – Licht und Schatten, die sich je nach Lichteinfall verändern, Details, die scheinbar von der Oberfläche abstehen.

In meinem Shop kommen hauptsächlich Tierporträts vorbei, und das freut mich sehr. Aber Porträts von Menschen bedeuten mir genauso viel, und ich stecke dieselbe Sorgfalt in ein Foto eines Elternteils, eines Partners oder eines Kindes wie in ein Foto eines Hundes oder einer Katze. Ganz gleich, welches Motiv ich fotografiere, das Ziel ist immer dasselbe: ein 3D-gedrucktes Objekt, das der Person bis ins kleinste Detail, das es unverwechselbar macht, täuschend ähnlich sieht.

Jedes einzelne Stück wird in unserer eigenen Werkstatt im 3D-Druckverfahren hergestellt und von mir persönlich vor dem Versand geprüft. Ich bin sehr anspruchsvoll, was das Endergebnis angeht – wenn ein Druck nicht meinen hohen Ansprüchen genügt, fertige ich ihn so lange an, bis er perfekt ist. Ihr Stück verlässt unser Haus erst, wenn ich es selbst mit gutem Gewissen in meinem Zuhause aufhängen würde.

Mir ist es wichtig, dass die kleinen Details stimmen, denn ich weiß, was diese Stücke den Bestellern bedeuten – das erste Haustier, ein Elternteil, ein Partner, eine einmalige Erinnerung. Dieser Kontext prägt meine Herangehensweise an jede einzelne Bestellung und jeden individuellen 3D-Druck, der meine Werkstatt verlässt.

Custom 3D Printed Portraits — Mostly Pets, Always Personal

This is the heart of the shop: I take your photo and 3D print it into a layered portrait, where each thin layer of the print builds up the image the way a flat photograph never could. The result is a piece with real dimension — light and shadow that shift depending on how it's lit, details that seem to lift right off the surface.

Most of what comes through my shop is pets, and I love that. But portraits of people mean just as much to me, and I put the same care into a photo of a parent, a partner, or a child as I do into a photo of a dog or cat. Whatever the subject, the goal is the same: a 3D printed piece that actually looks like them, right down to the small details that make it unmistakably yours.

Every custom piece is 3D printed in-house, one at a time, and personally inspected by me before it ships. I'm picky about the final result — if a print doesn't meet my own standard, I'll do it again until it does. Your piece only goes out the door once I'd be happy to hang it in my own home.
