Typically, installing a handrail into these types of staircases required hammer drilling into concrete - a difficult and time consuming job. Our handrails are easily installed in 15 minutes. Whether you’re installing a home handrail or garage handrail, Hold Tight Handrails are designed with strength and durability to bring you and your loved ones peace of mind.

Hold Tight Handrails is proud to be an American company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. All of our handrails are made here in our facility and are shipped from that same location. We take pride in this fact and our quality is second to none.

The patent-pending Jamb Mount has an angled mounting bracket that mounts into the jamb of the door. This particular handrail screws into the front and the side of the bracket allowing for an extra sturdy installation. Please note when ordering, there is a definite left or right side to this version. This style is by far our most popular and best selling handrail.

The Wall Mount handrail has a flat mounting plate that mounts directly to the wall. This particular handrail is universal and can be used on either side of the door. It's also great for decks, patios, and other locations inside and outside your home.

Both of these handrail mounting styles come in two lengths, 18 or 32 inches and two color choices of white or black.

Here at Hold tight Handrails, customer service is our top priority, therefore we typically ship the handrails, free of charge, from our facility within a day or two of ordering. Then, depending on destination and the shipping service provider, most packages will arrive within two to four days. Of course, variables such as holiday, peek, seasons and shipping service delays, that can possibly affect these times. If you need your handrail expedited you can choose that option during the ordering process and will be responsible for the extra fee.

When installed properly, the Hold Tight Handrail is incredibly strong and study. We have tested our handrails to hold 400 lbs. or more but to allow for installation variables we rate the handrails at a 300 lbs. weight capacity.

Yes, they have a durable powder-coated finish and the stainless steel hardware included will not rust.

Yes, many customers have successfully installed these handrails on brick or concrete. Please note, the hardware included is not appropriate for this type of installation, therefore you will need to purchase specific brick/concrete anchors.
