Our Shop Story
Vi startade ursprungligen vår butik under min frus uppväxtperiod. Leksaks- och samlarrummet blev bebisens rum när vi välkomnade vår dotter till världen. Sedan dess har butiken utvecklats till en plats där man kan hitta mer än bara leksaker. Vi älskar att hitta vintageföremål och ge dem nytt liv. Det sägs att vi bara har 12 år på oss att förändra våra vanor innan de miljöskador vi har orsakat blir oåterkalleliga. Genom att handla vintage kan vi göra ett uttalande med våra plånböcker, vi kan öka trycket på globala varumärken att ändra sina processer för gröna, miljömedvetna och hållbara metoder.
Bättre kvalitet
Vintageföremål har stått emot tidens tand av en anledning. Äldre föremål tillverkades ofta av material av mycket högre kvalitet än de som produceras av snabbproduktionsföretag idag. Föremål som produceras av snabbproduktionsföretag är sällan tillverkade av kvalitetsmaterial, vilket innebär att de är mindre hållbara och tillverkade av icke-biologiskt nedbrytbara material. Vintageföremål byggdes för att hålla!
Självuttryck
Om du handlar vintage, varför inte berätta för dina vänner att du väljer återvunna, "omtyckta" plagg eftersom det är hållbart? Ju fler människor väljer vintage, desto bättre! Genom att handla vintage kan du inte bara uttrycka dig själv, utan du bidrar också till kampen mot klimatförändringarna och visar medkänsla för miljön.
Vi hoppas att vårt inventarium hittar de bästa hemmen och att dessa vintageskatter kommer att bli uppskattade och älskade i många år framöver!
We originally started our shop during my wife's nesting phase. The toy and collectible room became the baby's room as we welcomed our daughter into this world. Since then, the shop has evolved into a place where you can find more than just toys. We love finding vintage items and giving them new life. They say we only have 12 years to change our ways before the environmental damage we have caused becomes irreversible. By shopping vintage, we can make a statement with our wallets, we can increase the pressure on global brands to amend their processes for green, environmentally conscious and sustainable practices.
Better Quality
Vintage items have stood the test of time for a reason. Older items were often made with much higher quality materials than those produced by fast production companies today. Items produced by fast production outlets are rarely made from quality materials, meaning they are less durable and made with non-biodegradable material. Vintage items were built to last!
Self-Expression
If you are shopping vintage, why not tell your friends that you’re choosing recycled, ‘reloved’ items because it’s sustainable? The more people choose vintage, the better! By shopping vintage, you are not only able to self-express, but you are also playing your part in the fight for climate change and demonstrating compassion for the environment.
