One-of-a Kind Hand Embroidery
LilouandArchie was founded in 2021 as a Tokyo-based duo of clothes decorators.
We create one-of-a-kind garments and accessories, entirely hand embroidered in our atelier. Every bead and every stitch is sewn by hand, and no two pieces are ever the same.
Inspired by natural forms and subtle elements of Japanese culture, we approach clothing as a canvas for adornment. Each work is developed slowly and intentionally, shaped by the materials and the rhythm of handwork.
With backgrounds in visual communication design and fashion design, we combine artistic perspective with garment construction techniques. Rather than producing multiples, we focus on creating singular pieces that carry individuality and quiet detail.
Our philosophy is simple: to add new charm and character to garments through careful decoration, allowing them to exist longer and in a new light.
