Made By Karen Lee

I first learned to sew when I was in the 7th grade and believe me that was a loooong time ago! I made a lot of my own clothes until I graduated from high school in 1970. Once I was out of school I never really touched a sewing machine again until 2004.

My good friend Nita had taken up quilting and I loved her work, so I bought a few books and taught myself to quilt. I was afraid I would not remember how to use a sewing machine, but it was like riding a bike.......once you learn how........you never forget!!

About a year ago I started making rag blankets and didn't really know what I was going to do with them and my family encouraged me to open my etsy shop. So here I am!

Update...........
In August of 2014 I started making rice bags for aches and pains. I sold a few and then was asked by a customer to make some small bags for nail wrap application. I did and have had much success with that item. So now my focus is mainly on rice bags for nails, handwarmers and aches and pains for adults and boo boo bags for children.

All of my sewing is done in my studio on a Bernina machine.
