Ich habe Milk Threads Maternity gegründet, als meine älteste Tochter 2011 mit meinem ersten Enkel schwanger war. Ich lebe in den Boondocks von North Carolina, also war der Online-Verkauf meiner Artikel die beste Route für mich. Das Geschäft hat sich zu viel mehr entwickelt, als ich jemals erwartet hatte, und so hatte ich Anfang 2016 das Bedürfnis, den Namen in etwas zu ändern, das alle Produkte umfasst, die ich herstelle. Meine Töchter und ich brainstormten wochenlang und kamen schließlich auf den Namen Defining Moments, denn alle meine Kleider sind für besondere Zeiten im Leben, die dich definieren. "Momente, die dein Leben prägen, Momente, in denen du erkennst, dass nichts mehr gleich sein wird und die Zeit in zwei Teile geteilt ist, davor und danach."

I started Milk Threads Maternity when my oldest daughter was pregnant with my first grandson in 2011. I live in the boondocks of North Carolina so selling my items online was the best route for me. The business has blossomed into much more than I ever anticipated, and so in early 2016 I felt the need to change the name to something that encompassed all of the products that I make. My daughters and I brainstormed for weeks and finally came up with the name Defining Moments, because all of my gowns are for special times in life that define you. "Moments that mark your life, moments when you realize that nothing will ever be the same and time is divided into two parts, before this and after this."
