Northern Solace Design was born from a rhythm I had already begun to crave—but didn’t fully understand until I was forced to slow down.

After years working in healthcare as a physical therapist while raising two boys, life was full, fast, and constantly moving. Along the way, I discovered the joy of sauna culture and was drawn to its grounding, restorative nature—the contrast of heat and cold, effort and stillness. It became a ritual I was fortunate enough to weave into daily life after my husband and I built our own backyard sauna.

When a knee injury later forced me into stillness, I finally had the space to reflect. What started as recovery became creativity.

Northern Solace Design grew from that time—a creative outlet inspired by my love of sauna ritual, cold plunge therapy, and intentional living.

Each piece is designed to reflect that balance: intensity and calm, strength and rest. Rooted in minimalist, Nordic-inspired design, these prints are designed to bring a sense of grounding and clarity into your space—whether it’s a sauna, cold plunge area, home gym, or wellness room.
