We work hard but we pamper harder.
A “pink collar” worker is someone (male or female) who works in a care-oriented career field, traditionally considered to be “women’s work.” It’s anyone in the beauty industry, nursing, teaching, secretarial work, childcare, a florist, and any domestic helper.
But in my opinion, women in general are sacrificial and caregivers by nature. When we do any kind of work, whether it be in a traditional work environment, in person or from home, volunteering, running a business, or raising the new generation, we give ALL of ourselves. We pour our heart and soul into everything we do even if it means putting others before ourselves.
A “Pink Collar Princess” is a girls girl, who reminds others to care for themselves despite the world sometimes saying otherwise.
A “Pink Collar Princess” is any and everyone who works hard but wants to pamper harder. She’s a modern day woman but a Princess at heart. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty cause she knows she’s getting her nails done later anyway. She’s gritty, graceful and glamorous because she knows being multifaceted is key. And lastly, she knows that serving others doesn’t make her any less royal.
