Great pattern and I love how she attaches the top! I was lazy and used the same size needles for the entire mitten and it worked just fine. Instead of adding 2 stitches when picking up the thumb stitches, I added 4 to close the gap better and require less hand sewing at the end. I also did M1L and M1R for the thumb increases instead of always doing M1. Have made 2 pairs of mittens from this pattern. You can find decent tutorials for grafting the top if you are like me and can never remember how to do it. :>)
