Welcome to Spring Garden Street Studio! I am a mixed media artist working in colored pencil, paints and papers for the most part. I love Japanese origami papers and Chinese rice papers because they are rich in texture, pattern and color. Whenever possible I love to add gold touches to my artwork. If not in the papers I am using, then by adding metallic gold paint or using a metallic gold gel pen to hand-detail my work. The gold symbolizes the supernatural aspect of the natural world - to remind people that there is a Divine Creator behind all we see.

I have been drawing since I was a child and dreaming of a day when I could sell my artwork. I grew up in Easton, PA on a cute little tree-lined street aptly named “Spring Garden Street”.

It is from those days of simplicity and innocence that I draw my inspiration for my work. I am a person of faith in a God who is a tender and loving Father to all His creation and who calls us to focus on the things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy.

So I want to call others back to childhood and back to purity through my artwork while reminding us all that we are part of a creation full of beauty, purpose and meaning.
