Here's the story:
I have always had a unique fondness of paper and stationery and stickers and buying all the things. Once I realized that I could make my own and make them for others, it was game on. My first customers consisted mostly of family and friends and they inspired me to sell my stickers online. So, I found Etsy and opened up a shop. Initially the shop was named Onionberry Stationery, then The Payne Station, then things happen. And things change. This time even better! Spring Toad Designs was born! There have been a lot of changes and will be more changes. Now I have more time to devote to my shop. In the beginning, I was working work fulltime, so everything was done after work and on the weekends. Never once, did I look at this as a second job, as it is something that I just love doing. My fascination with design started with the term ROY G. BIV when I was in school. Can you believe there are a lot of folks (of course, outside of the planner and sticker world) that do not know what the term stands for? RED ORANGE YELLOW GREEN BLUE INDIGO VIOLET! I found my love of different kinds of color palettes, starting from magazine swatches when I was redecorating our home. The light bulb went on, when I noticed that I could make sets of stickers with those very same swatches that I have been saving for years, that I believed to be absolutely gorgeous mixtures of color! I love creating and designing stationery, especially when it brightens up someone’s day! To see my family and friends smile and gasp at my designs, is an inner reward. I love making people happy.
Now, that hours have been vested into research on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc., I figured out certain layouts that I feel are most useful and are more utilized than others. I came up with a few plans. It may not be perfect for everyone but that is what the comments and feedback are for. Please message me, if you think I can assist you in any way.
