Design as the vision, the Heritage as the language, and the Humanity as the hands that bring it to life. Our ceramics are "Functional Heritage"—objects intended to be used, touched, and loved.
Meet Artists of TangPing Studio
Ye Jing (叶静) is a Shanghai-trained oil painter who moved to the Fujian countryside to embrace a "grounded" life and establish her independent studio, "xr.friends". Her ceramic work is defined by a "Gaoguai" (playfully weird) and whimsical aesthetic, utilizing a unique "Line Art" style that treats functional objects as 3D canvases for bold, energetic colors. Beyond her personal art, she is a catalyst for community change, teaching ceramic painting to local village women to provide them with creative employment and financial independence.
Chen Junlan (陈钧岚) views the creation of handmade vessels as a meditative ritual and a form of "quiet rebellion" against the rigid perfection of mass production. A professional in the elder care industry by day, she finds sanctuary at the potter's wheel, crafting hand-thrown pieces characterized by organic silhouettes and a rustic, natural simplicity. Her long-term vision involves empowering the elderly in her community by providing them with a creative voice through clay, turning her studio into a bridge between generations.
