Un'amica mi ha fatto conoscere il mondo dell'uncinetto nella primavera del 2018. Poi un'altra amica mi ha detto che mi sarebbe piaciuto il mini punch needle. Così è nato The Primitive Black Sheep a Paris, Illinois.
Quando ho aperto il mio negozio Etsy, The Primitive Black Sheep non era disponibile. Così sono diventata The Wooly Black Sheep su Etsy e da allora ho cambiato il mio nome in Thread Your Needles.
Il negozio offre servizi di uncinetto e perforatura di tappeti, applicazione di lana e mini punch needle utilizzando lo strumento Ultra Punch Needle.
Mi sono buttata a capofitto e ho aperto il mio negozio quell'autunno. Abbiamo costruito un negozio di 7,3 x 10,8 metri accanto a casa nostra.
Offriamo lezioni in aula, disponiamo degli strumenti e delle basi necessarie per l'uncinetto, la perforazione di tappeti, la mini perforazione ad ago, gli strumenti Ultra Punch Needle, telai con pinza, fili Valdani, lana sfusa, lana tinta a mano, modelli e altri articoli da regalo nel negozio, tra cui gioielli avvolti in filo metallico che realizzo e progetto.
Adoro lavorare con le mani, quindi insegnare e aiutare gli altri ad apprendere un'arte quasi dimenticata è la cosa più bella del mondo: vedi l'espressione sul loro viso quando hanno imparato qualcosa di nuovo e possono ammirare una splendida creazione per sé o per una persona cara.

A friend introduced me to the world of rug hooking in the spring of 2018. Then another friend said I would love mini punch needle. That was the start of The Primitive Black Sheep in Paris, IL.
When I first opened my Etsy shop, The Primitive Black Sheep wasn't available. So I became the The Wooly Black Sheep on Etsy and since changed my name to Thread Your Needles.
The shop offers rug hooking, rug punching, wool applique and mini punch needle using the Ultra Punch Needle tool.
I jumped in with both feet and opened my own shop that fall. We built a 24' x 36' shop next to our home.
We offer classroom instruction, carry the needed tools and foundations for rug hooking, rug punching, mini needle punch, Ultra Punch Needle tools, gripper frames, Valdani threads, off the bolt wool, hand dyed wool, patterns and other gift items in the shop that include wire wrapped jewelry I make and design.
I love working with my hands so teaching and helping others learn an almost forgotten art is the best thing in the world when you see the look on their face when they've learned something new and can enjoy a beautiful creation for themselves or a loved one.
