Three Treasures Studio nació de una vida que no encaja fácilmente en ninguna categoría, y ese es precisamente el objetivo.

Somos un grupo de personas que no encajaban del todo en otros lugares, unidas por un propósito común y la profunda convicción de aceptar a cada persona tal como es. Entre todos, somos padres de seis hijos increíbles, cada uno con sus propias fortalezas, desafíos y perspectivas del mundo. En nuestro hogar se abarca todo el espectro de la neurodivergencia: desde autismo no verbal hasta mentes superdotadas que cursan estudios universitarios a los diez años, y todo lo que hay entre medias. Las etiquetas nunca logran definir quiénes son, y hemos aprendido que lo más importante que podemos ofrecerles no es una caja en la que encajar, sino un espacio para desarrollarse plenamente.

Cada uno de nosotros aporta un camino diferente a esta misión compartida:

Jessica trabaja en una escuela alternativa, acompañando a jóvenes en riesgo y ayudándoles a encontrar su lugar en un mundo que a menudo los ignora. Ella ve potencial donde otros ven problemas.

Katie está cursando un doctorado en historia, y cuenta con títulos avanzados en salud pública e historia. Su pasión es ayudar a las personas, especialmente a los niños neurodivergentes, a desenvolverse en sistemas que no fueron diseñados para ellos y a encontrar confianza en sí mismos.

Anthony es un veterano de combate de la Infantería de Marina que sirvió en Irak y posteriormente desarrolló una carrera como ingeniero de software, trabajando en diversos entornos, desde empresas emergentes hasta Silicon Valley. Su trayectoria combina disciplina, resiliencia y creatividad, cualidades que influyen en todo lo que hacemos.

Lo que nos une es simple: creemos en los "juguetes inadaptados". Los niños que no encajan en el molde. Las familias que no se parecen a las demás. Las personas a las que a menudo les dicen que son "demasiado" o "insuficientes".

Nos gusta decir que vivimos en la Isla de los Juguetes Olvidados, y nos hemos propuesto coleccionarlos.

Three Treasures Studio surgió tras una época de grandes cambios: la pérdida de un familiar, un divorcio, la pérdida del empleo y otros acontecimientos vitales que te obligan a detenerte y preguntarte: ¿Qué es lo que realmente importa? Nuestra respuesta fue clara: las personas. Especialmente aquellas que suelen pasar desapercibidas.

Esta tienda es mucho más que una tienda de productos. Es un paso hacia algo más grande. Nuestro objetivo es convertir Three Treasures Studio en un negocio que genere oportunidades para personas neurodivergentes, personas a menudo subestimadas pero con un gran potencial. Además, destinamos una parte de nuestras ganancias a causas que nos importan profundamente, como el apoyo a personas con autismo, iniciativas de salud mental y recursos para jóvenes sin hogar y en situación de riesgo.

No somos una familia perfecta. No somos una familia típica.
Pero somos una familia que elige estar presente, con compasión, resiliencia y propósito.

Three Treasures Studio was born from a life that doesn’t fit neatly into categories—and that’s exactly the point.

We are a collection of people who didn’t quite fit elsewhere, brought together by shared purpose and a deep belief in meeting people where they are. Between us, we are parents to six incredible children, each with their own strengths, challenges, and ways of seeing the world. Our home spans the full spectrum of neurodivergence—from non-verbal autism to profoundly gifted minds taking college classes at age ten, and everything in between. Labels never quite capture who they are, and we’ve learned that the most important thing we can offer them isn’t a box to fit into—it’s space to thrive.

Each of us brings a different path to this shared mission:

Jessica works in an alternative school, walking alongside at-risk youth and helping them find their footing in a world that often overlooks them. She sees potential where others see problems.

Katie is pursuing her PhD in history, with advanced degrees in both public health and history. Her passion is helping people—especially neurodivergent kids—navigate systems that weren’t designed for them, and find confidence in who they are.

Anthony is a Marine combat veteran who served in Iraq and later built a career as a software engineer, working everywhere from startups to Silicon Valley. His journey bridges discipline, resilience, and creativity in ways that shape everything we do.

What ties us together is simple: we believe in the “misfit toys.” The kids who don’t fit the mold. The families who don’t look like everyone else. The people who are often told they are “too much” or “not enough.”

We like to say we live on the Island of Misfit Toys—and we’ve made it our mission to collect them.

Three Treasures Studio came out of a season of hard resets—family loss, divorce, job loss, and the kind of life events that force you to step back and ask, What really matters? Our answer was clear: people. Especially the ones who get overlooked.

This shop is more than products. It’s a step toward something bigger. Our goal is to grow Three Treasures Studio into a business that creates opportunities for neurodivergent individuals—people who are often underestimated but deeply capable. We also commit a portion of our proceeds to causes close to our hearts, including autism support, mental health initiatives, and resources for homeless and at-risk youth.

We are not a perfect family. We are not a typical family.
But we are a family that chooses to show up—with compassion, resilience, and purpose.
