Onze “waarom”
Our “why”
Wat begon met een simpele toevoeging ter ondersteuning van mijn simracehobby.
Een ontsnapping uit het werk, een manier om mijn verstand te redden, een remedie voor onmiddellijke bevrediging: Fusion360-ontwerpsprints om de wilde autocollectie van mijn 4-jarige zoon op orde te krijgen.
Nu zijn we een echtpaar dat voortdurend mogelijkheden bedenkt en experimenteert om kleine accenten toe te voegen aan alledaagse voorwerpen in huis.
De WXY28-winkel is een verzameling van items die we hebben ontworpen en gebruiken in ons huishouden. Onze designesthetiek zal waarschijnlijk niet iedereen bevallen, maar het is een weerspiegeling van de eenvoudige, elegante en *functionele* designfilosofie waar we vreugde en plezier in vinden.
In onze winkel vindt u over het algemeen 3D-geprinte producten van:
- sim race-installatie
- Lego Speed Champions en Technic auto's
- thuis koffie station
- huishoudelijke organisatie / IKEA Skadis pegboard accessoires
Of een combinatie van bovenstaande 😃
Alles wat u in deze winkel ziet, is ontworpen en 3D-geprint in Vancouver, Canada.
We besteden veel tijd aan het testen en herhalen van elk ontwerp om de benodigde printkwaliteit en functionele sterkte te maximaliseren. Niet alles zal altijd perfect zijn, maar we streven ernaar om het product van de hoogste kwaliteit te produceren met de tools die we tot onze beschikking hebben.
What started with a simple addition to support my sim racing hobby.
Turned into an escape from work, sanity saving, cure for immediate gratification, Fusion360 design sprints to get my 4 year old’s wild cars collection in order.
Now we’re a husband and wife team always imagining and experimenting with opportunities to add little touches to everyday objects around the house.
The WXY28 store is a curation of items we’ve designed and are using in our household. Our design aesthetic likely won’t please everyone, but it is a reflection of the simple, elegant, and *functional* design philosophy that we find joy and pleasure in.
In our store, you’ll generally find 3D printed products around:

Everything you see in this store is designed and 3D printed in Vancouver, Canada.
We spend a lot of time testing and iterating each design to maximize print quality and functional strength needed. Not everything will be perfect all the time, but we strive to produce the highest quality product we can with the tools we have at our disposal.
