I was working in theatre for about 20 years when I felt it was time to make a change. I have always lived a random life, traveling for a living, and reinventing myself time and time again, so change didn't really scare me.

I was asked to be in a girlfriends wedding in 2009 and as a gift to her and her bridal party, I offered to make jewelry. Since I offered before I knew how, I got to work reading every book I could get my hands on, and researching trends, resources and quickly became addicted to making jewelry. Soon came fascinators since I have been such a long time fan of hats and fashions of the past.

Over the past few years I have had the pleasure of working with so many brides on their special day and others trying to find just that right gift.

Tired of cold winters in NYC and needing to be closer to my family in CA, I decided to spend a year creating, developing and maintaining my shop, before quitting my theatre job and truly branching out on my own.

I now live in the CA bay area and love dividing my time between Lilyladyblue, my family and my new husband.
