Although I've always been a crafty individual, I haven't always been savvy with a sewing machine. Looking back, I remember the experience I had trying to hand sew my 8th grade project for Home Ec. class. That poor pillow never had a chance! Who would've guessed that young teenage girl would've grown into the sewing frenzy that I am today.

After my crazy sewing experience in the 8th grade, I honestly never thought about sewing with or without a sewing machine, until a few years ago when I was a stay at home mom and full time online student. I wanted something I could do to try and help support my family, without taking away from "Mommy and Me time" and also allowing me to work on my assignments when need be. At last, J & J's Boutique began.

With two young children as my inspiration, I'm always thinking up of something new to make for them and then to add into my shop. If it's not approved by them, it's not added in!
