Hallo! Mein Name ist Francisca und ich bin die kleine Träumerin hinter dem Tiny Turtle Art Shop. Meine Kunst zu schaffen und mit der Welt zu teilen war schon immer ein großer Traum von mir und dieser kleine Laden ist der Beginn meiner Reise dorthin.
Kunstdrucke, Schmuck, Aufkleber, Minigemälde, Skulpturen und jedes andere Hobby, das ich an einem beliebigen Tag in Angriff nehme, bilden die Kunstwerke, die in meinem Shop zum Verkauf stehen. In meinen Kunstwerken liebe ich es, Natur und Wissenschaft in ihrer ganzen Pracht einzubeziehen und hoffe, in Zukunft wissenschaftliche Illustrationen erstellen zu können, um über verschiedene Themen aufzuklären. Außerdem mache ich sehr gerne viele kleine, süße Dinge. Der Traum ist, eines Tages einen eigenen Laden voller Kunst, Pflanzen, Schildkröten und anderen Dingen und vielleicht ein paar Katzen zu haben? ... was auch immer es ist, ich weiß, es beginnt hier und bei dir, also danke, dass du hier bist!
Erzählen Sie mir vielleicht ein wenig über mich? Ich bin ein 21-jähriger portugiesischer Kanadier und lebe in Ontario, Kanada. Ich habe eine starke Leidenschaft für Kunst, Biologie und Witze und Humor, die manchmal nur ich amüsant finde. Oh, und ich liebe Schildkröten wirklich :)
Ein weiterer sehr realer Teil meiner Geschichte ist, dass ich ein behinderter Schöpfer bin. Ich habe das hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos-Syndrom (hEDS), eine Bindegewebsstörung, die alle Systeme in meinem Körper betrifft. Um es kurz zu machen: Ich habe chronische Schmerzen, chronische Müdigkeit und allgemeine Schwäche in meinem ganzen Körper (neben vielen anderen sehr lustigen Symptomen ...). In meinem Zustand ist es ziemlich schwierig, einen Job oder eine Einkommensquelle zu finden. Ich habe mir lange den Kopf zerbrochen und mir nichts ausgedacht, was zu meiner Behinderung und meinen täglichen Bedürfnissen passen würde (während ich gleichzeitig einen Abschluss in Biologie an der Universität machte) ... bis mir klar wurde, dass ich etwas Eigenes erschaffen konnte! Also habe ich meinen kleinen Schildkröten-Kunstladen eingerichtet. Ta da! alles gelöst! sofortiger Milliardär! ... na ja, ein Mädchen kann sowieso träumen. Spaß beiseite, das ist etwas, das mir die Möglichkeit gibt, im Rahmen meiner Fähigkeiten zu arbeiten, und ich bin gespannt und hoffnungsvoll zu sehen, wohin dieser kleine Laden führt. Ich hoffe, Sie kommen mit auf die Reise!

Hi! My name is Francisca and I am the little dreamer behind tiny turtle art shop. Creating and sharing my art with the world has always been a big dream of mine and this little shop is the start of my journey to get there.
Art prints, jewelry, stickers, mini paintings, sculptures, and any other hobby I decide to pick up on a random day, is what constitutes the artwork available for sale in my shop. In my artwork I love to incorporate nature and science in all its glory and hope to create scientific illustrations in the future to educate on various topics. I also really like to make lots of little cute things. The dream is to someday have a brick and mortar shop of my own filled with art and plants and turtles and things and maybe some cats? ... whatever it is I know it starts here and it starts with you, so thanks for being here!
Tell me a little about myself you may ask? I am a 21 year old Portuguese Canadian living in Ontario Canada. I have a strong passion for art, biology and jokes and humor that sometimes only I find amusing. Oh, and I kinda really love turtles :)
Another very real part of my story is being a disabled creator. I have hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) which is a connective tissue disorder that effects all systems in my body. To make a very long explanation short, I have chronic pain, chronic fatigue and general weakness in my whole body (among many other very fun symptoms...). Finding a job or any source of income in my condition is pretty hard. I wracked my brain for a long while and came up with nothing that would fit my disability and daily needs (while also pursuing a degree in biology at university) ... until I realized I could create something of my own! So I made my tiny turtle art shop. ta da! all solved! instant billionaire! ... welp a girl can dream anyways. All jokes aside this is something that provides me with the ability to work within my abilities and I am excited and hopeful to see where this little shop goes. I hope you come along for the journey!
