I love this style of ring....whether you call it a cluster, a flower or a halo design....it's classic and retro and makes a great engagment ring or "right hand" ring....

Sturdily crafted of solid 14K white gold, the ring features a central diamond surrounded by eight smaller stones. The center diamond is a bezel-set round brilliant cut - nice and fiery - and is approximately 4 mm in diameter, so estimated to be approximately .25 carats. I would judge the color to be in the H-I range of near-colorless and it is completely eye-clean and also looks very clean under my 14x loupe. The bezel still has some of it's original milgrain work, and there might be just a tiny nick at one edge of the diamond where it meets the bezel...or it might just be the way the diamond was cut. It's hard to tell and the diamond is well protected in it's bezel......otherwise, I don't see any nicks, chips or cracks.

The outer border of the ring where the smaller diamonds are set has nicely articulated settings for each diamond. The smaller diamonds are old single cut diamonds, with each one measuring approximately approximately 2.2 mm in diameter. I would also put them in the near-colorless range and they are all eye-clean. I do see one stone with a tiny chip at one edge that is only visible under magnification and one stone that either has a small white inclusion at one prong, or a tiny bit of damage where the prong is....it's small and I can't tell for sure...but, it again is something seen only under high magnification. All the beads/prongs holding the smaller diamonds show a lot of wear...I would definitely recommend having them retipped soon.

The setting is a great design for letting in a lot of light to make the diamonds really sparkle! (they are much brighter and more fiery than I could capture in my photos) The face of the ring measures approximately 10 mm in diameter and the rise off the finger is approximately 7.5 mm.

The band is simple and still strong, showing only light wear. It is still marked inside the band "14K" and "W-K" which I believe is a maker's mark. The ring weighs a nice 3.10 grams.

Currently a size 7.25 this ring could be sized by a good jeweler. ** Please read my policies page for more information regarding sizing or feel free to convo me to discuss it or to obtain a quote from my trusted jeweler!

This charming ring is ready for it's new life....as your engagement or wedding ring...or simply a wonderful piece to wear anytime....

Please convo with questions and Thanks for looking!
