Vintage Art Deco sugarbowl, a gorgeous piece of 1920s lustreware from Japan. Made by Moriyama Mori-Machi. Handpainted glazed porcelain in periwinkle/lavender and peach/apricot, separated by a band of black. Two handles, each an ornate half heart. The lid has a sturdy knob finial.

About 5" x 6"

A note on Morimachi: the red double M in garland mark has been dated to Moriyama Factory at Morimachi Shizuoka Prefecture Japan, 1926-1929

Excellent condition.! No chips or cracks, very minor fading, very minor wear.
