Whenever I buy something, I always think about where it came from and the impact that it has on the environment and society. I try to infuse that into my products whenever possible. I package my jewelry in an eco-friendly way, and I use all of my scraps to make unique pieces.

When I found these Paper to Pearls beads, I could not wait to work with them. They are made by artisans in Northern Uganda from recycled paper. They are finished with a nice, eco-friendly laquer. On top of that, they are fair trade and support women and thier families in Uganda.

These particular earrings are made with a large, burgundy saucer paper to pearls bead. I used brown wire and created a loop at the bottom for the small, orange paper to pearls beads. I then wrapped the remaining wire around the top to give the piece texture. I love these earrings and what they represent.

They are about 3 inches long, and the colors are just gorgeous.

All of my items are ready for gift-giving. Gift wrap is free, and I have many different packaging options. Take a look at my other listings for examples of how your package will come. You can mix and match any colors, vibrant, holiday, or simple favorites. I have spools upon spools of ribbon, so if you suggest a color, I probably have it.
