This is a really nifty piece of camera history! The Kodak 35, introduced in 1938, was Kodak's first camera for the 35mm still camera market. The unique lens plate and viewfinder are hold overs from Kodak's bellows cameras. Bakelite and metal construction, a Kodak Anastigmat Special 51mm f/4.5 lens, in a four speed Flash Diomatic shutter. These details date this camera to 1946-1948! It's clunky but charming, with lots of Mid Century styling. Would look great as a desk accessory or on a shelf with a camera collection in your studio or library. What looks like black leatherette is actually textured Bakelite. The rest of the body is brushed metal.

Shutter does not work, camera is sold as is, for collection and decor. However, the camera displays excellently! Very clean, hardly any wear at all to the Bakelite, lens plate, or dials.
A bit of dust in the hard to reach places. A tiny bit of verdigris, under the camera on the film chamber opening latch.
