I'd like to introduce you to Gus the Grasshopper, who's takin' some time this fine Summer afternoon to do a little fishin'.

Gus is crafted of muslin, which has been painted and stained. His face, legs and arms have been needle-scuplted for added detail. His wings are made of muslin and quilting batting, which has been painted, stained and stiffened. He is rubbed with yummy smelling cinnamon too! Gus is wearing worn jean overalls, with twine straps and patch on his knee. He also wears a soft flannel shirt. He sports a cute bandana around his neck. His eyes are beads, his antennae are stiff black wire which are poking through the top of his worn ole straw hat. Gus carries a stick fishin' pole with a little hook at the end. Gus is 20" long and full of detail!

This adorable creature is sure to be a conversation piece at your home, and he would look adorable sittin' on a shelf or as part of a centerpiece on your table. You won't find many like him, and he is made to order just for you, so please allow 10-14 business days for shipment.

I ship all my items via USPS Priority mail with delivery confirmation. Once your item has shipped, I will contact you with the tracking number, so you can follow ole Gus to your home.

Inspired by a Fruitful Hands pattern.
