This listing is for a very rare Chemex coffee pot with its original cork collar. Embossed near the top with Chemex Pat. 2241368, this Chemex is the 3-cup variety. Originally designed by the famous industrial designer, Peter Schlumbohm, Chemex coffee pots are part of MOMA's permanent collection.

This particular example comes to us in good, vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The glass container has some bubbles, which is typical for hand-blown glass. Minor signs of coffee stains along the edges. The original cork collar has separated into two pieces (see photo 2) and has some edge scraping and cracking. 8 inches tall. 4 inches in diameter at base.

International Buyers: Due to the item's weight, it must be shipped International Priority Mail. Shipping prices have been adjusted accordingly.
