Up for grabs today is a very neat classroom globe made by The George F. Cram Company. This is a World Book edition and it measures approximately 12" diameter. The base is made of wood and it measures approximately 7" diameter.

It lists Hawaii as a state so it is newer than 1959 but it includes some great classics such as U.S.S.R. and East & West Germany. Most Likely 1970's.

For the George Cram enthusiast - the base is maked "298M"

The piece is in good condition overall - it does show signs of normal wear. Also, there is some tape along the equator as you can see in the last photgraph. It is hardly noticeable but I did not want to try removing it.

If your son or daugter cannot point to the state that he or she lives in on a globe - you may want to consider keeping one of these bone crushers laying around the house.

God Bless America!
