Vintage Goldette rhinestone pin brooch with two roses and two leaves from about the 1960's. Each rose has a center clear rhinestone with a few smaller ones on the petals. It's goldtone and signed "Goldette R" on an applied disc or cartouche on the back and has a secure safety clasp. The brooch is 1 3/4" high x 1 7/8" wide and is in excellent condition.

Be sure to take a look at my other vintage jewelry:

Goldette Jewelry 1955-1970's
The Goldette mark was used by Ben Gartner who did business as the Circle Jewelry Co. They first used the mark of "Goldette N.Y. in the fall of 1955, Most all attribute the start of Goldette in 1958 but some pieces have been dated as early as 1955 and carry the copyright (c), or the (R) for registered after the mark where later jewelry had the (c) before their mark and was sometimes used on a oval applied disc. Goldette was written in script for most all jewelry items. They mainly produced designs in a Victorian style in antiqued goldtone or bright silver finish. Native American and Asian styles were also commonly used.
