A sterling bangle bracelet featuring a dual-sided, arabesque-shaped charm. On one side I have carved a branch of cherry blossoms, and on the other side I've carved a butterfly flanked by four, 3mm round , faceted rainbow moonstones. The entire charm (including bail), measures 1 1/4' long by 1" wide ( 3.175 x 2.54 cm).. The bangle itself measures a delicate 1/8" wide (3.175mm) and its diameter is 2 5/8" wide (6.67cm). If you have any questions about fit, please don't hesitate to contact me.

The moonstones are a gorgeous, ethereal blue depending upon the lighting and the angle in which they're viewed.

I was lucky enough to attend the exhibit of Elizabeth Taylor's jewelry at Christies in 2011. Ms. Taylor owned so many astounding pieces, I didn't even know where to look! Among her bracelet collections she had a marvelous set of six, 18kt gold bangles each with an ancient coin attached. It was just so incredibly chic- a deconstructed charm bracelet! I decided to create my own version, but rather than coins I've carved charms that hold meaning for me. This dragonfly is the second in this little collection.

This piece features two of my favorite motifs: butterfly and cherry blossoms. Depending on the culture, cherry blossoms are connected to beauty, spring, innocence and simplicity. As a symbol, butterfly represents transformation. resurrection and celebration.
