1950 Voigtländer Vitessa (125) was the first model of the Vitessa range. It has a manual parallax correction, diamond shaped rangefinder patch and a pressure plate which is hinged to the body. The "barn door" opens to reveal a Ultron f2 / 50mm lens.
A German Voigtländer Vitessa (type 125) version A3 35mm rangefinder camera circa 1950. Ultron 1:2/50mm lens. Synchro-Compur shutter with speeds to 1/500th of a second. A compact folding rangefinder camera of high quality construction and excellent optics. Lens retracts behind "barn doors". Long plunger both advances film and cocks shutter.
This particular one is in excellent working and cosmetic condition includes original leather case and metal lens hood.

Serial #7528952 - Shutter.
Body without dents or dings. Satin chrome with only slight signs of time. Leather cover is smooth and intact. Film advance plunger works as designed. Film frame counter works fine. Rangefinder is in adjustment and focusing spot is contrasty and bright. Focusing is smooth and free. Shutter fires at all speeds and sounds reasonably accurate. Shutter blades are clean and dry. Inside of camera is clean and smooth.

Voigtlander Ultron 1:2/50mm Serial #3515486. Lens glass without scratches, fungus or separation. Coatings are beautiful. Aperture adjusts smoothly

This is an incredible 100% working camera ideal for collectors and lovers of good cameras.
