6 Vintage French money orders dating from from the early 19th century.

Each of the 6 money orders is from the same company - A SAVEROT (a general store) which was based in Burgundy France. The money orders date to between 1901 and 1904 and were made out to the same customer but for different amounts.

All of the money orders carry the 'timbre fiscale' the old French purchase tax.

The money orders were issued by the supplier to the customer who presented them to the bank with the payment.

The dimensions of each order is approx. 10.1" x 4.1"

They were found at a Burgundy flee market.
