This vintage set of identical square glass jars is unusual in multiple ways: small size, square shape, and reddish-brown spiral or Greek key design down the front side. Each bottle is made of clear, delicate glass. Each lid is faceted and domed. Each is stamped on the bottom with the single word “JAPAN.”

This set is beautiful on its own and is functional in a variety of settings, say, to store dried herbs, paper clips, bath salts, or whatever small thing you can imagine.

The jars are in very good condition, with no significant chips or cracks. The only wear is around the base of each stopper and where the stoppers meet the jar walls, which is a rougher surface by design to prevent slipping.

Measurements:
Height of jar: 2 ½ inches
Height with lid: 3 ½ inches
Width & Depth of jar: 2 inches
Diameter of lip: 2 inches
Diameter of opening (as smallest point): 1 ½ inches
