Metal Doctor's field kit, circa WWI.
Likely steel rectangular box with rounded corners and flip- latch.
Rod of Asclepius with crown etched onto the top lid- dating this to approximately WWI, as shown in the last photo.
Interior has two compartments, with swinging arms holding tools in place across the center.
As purchased- not all tools appear to be original, and some are much older than others- most look like replacements (more WWII to Mid- Century in look and feel).
Given the tools and style, this was likely a venereal field kit, but could have had multiple other uses as well.
While sharp and quite useable looking- please plan on use for display only!

Box is pitted, dinged and worn, as shown. A great display item for bathroom shelves, etc.

5- 7/8" long, 1- 15/16" deep (excluding clasp and hinge), 7/8" high
Please review my shop policies when considering a purchase.
