Ruffled collar continues down the buttion placket.
Front tucking and graceful gathers at the waistline.
Gently gathered sheer skirt with an underskirt
that shows through... with ruffles.
Long sheer gathered sleeves
with classic 60's wide button cuffs with ruffles.
Bodice lining and the underskirt are a soft yellow cotton.

Label: Mr. Mort by Stan Herman
Made during the period when this design firm
was putting dresses over pants... and that cutting edge
inovation shows in the imaginative way this dress
uses sheer fabric!

Excellent vintage condition. The skirt may have been lowered... so this could always be re-hemmed higher again very easily.
