Here is a vintage 1960s bridesmaid dress that I acquired from the original owner. This garment comes with a matching veil that is attached to a hair comb. Please read my entire description. This dress is sold as it is, which include some small flaws. *Dress is immediately wearable, however!

Manufacturer Label: ILGWU tag. 982735
Care Label: N/A

DETAILS: This dress is lovely! The green is almost indescribable - hovering in the soft, but bright green area, almost mint but not quite there. Dress is floor/ankle length. Made of a chiffon overlay atop a stiff solid green dress. Decorative bow at waistline. Matching green decorative buttons from neckline to waistline. Floral detail that borders the buttons through the center and rises up over the neckline to create a high neckline. Classy! Sleeves are sheer with opaque cuffs that snap shut. Dress zips in the back from lower back the neckline. There is also a bag included with this dress that contains a matching bridesmaids veil with three green daisies and green tulle. I couldn't get a great photo of it, so consider it a bonus item if you buy the dress.

Chest: [armpit to armpit]: Measures 33" [16-1/2" flat]
Waist: Measures 29" [14-1/2" flat]
Hips: Measures 39" [18" flat]
Sleeves, from shoulder to cuff: 22"
Total length: [shoulder to bottom hemline]: 55"

There is no stretch to the material. I would consider this dress as a modern SMALL [dress sizes 2-4] . Photographed on dress form set to modern size 6, with an adjustment for the bust. [Bust needs to be smaller than 34"!] *Please go by my measurements when making your decision!

CONDITION: I'd consider this dress in FAIR Vintage Condition. After some inspection I can make a few noted flaws, some significant, but possibly repairable and is immediately wearable despite flaws. There is a 2 inch or so sized coffee stain on the left area of the bib on both layers, but a 1/2 inch stain is most apparent on the top layer. [See detail photos.] There is a rip on the left cuff that looks to be easily repaired with a few stitches. The snaps on both cuffs are attached to some loose threads and may need some attention after a few wears. At the bottom of the skirt are a few pulls in the chiffon, and some stains, likely from being stepped on.... And obviously, it needs to be pressed! With a trip to your local dry cleaners and a few stitches, this dress would probably still be cheaper than a new prom or bridesmaid dress. I have priced this according to the issues mentioned!
