This is a magical sort of skein. It's a mix of creamy white British fleece from the sheep of the Cheviot Hills, colored merinos, silky white bamboo, and silk threads and remnants recycled from sari production in India, and then it is loosely plied with gold thread. I've spun it mildly thick & thin with a tad of overspinning to make it a little curlywurly so it has a unique texture when knitted, crocheted, or woven.

The photos seem to vary widely but it's simply that there are all sorts of color combinations going on, from mint to emerald, pink to lilac, and splashes of navy, maroon, lime, and black. But overall it has a disposition towards magical green shades, so I decided to put it into my fairy collection of yarns as Fairy Forest. When knitted up, it has a dark, glittering look.

A 165 gram (5.8 ounce) single ply skein, approximately 172 yards long, spun in a pet and smoke free environment. Yarn gauge = 10 wraps per inch.
