Description

At the heart of existence, so I believe, is something like joy and serenity. This work is one of my feeble efforts to picture that.

The original work was done with pen and ink on Arches 140 lb watercolor paper. The original, black and white, was scanned and printed on the same kind of Arches paper, and watercolors were then added. This is a print of that final piece.

The print is an archival Giclee print, produced by this artist on an Epson 3880. The print will not fade for more than 100 years, according to the manufacturer. The paper used for the print is Rives BFK, a fine smooth acid-free rag paper with a pale cream tone. The colors of the print may be a little different from what you see on your monitor.

The dimensions of the image are approximately 14 by 20.5 inches. The print will have a 1.5 inch border all around, and will be signed by the artist, with the title and the date.

SHIPPING:
This art will be shipped via the US Postal Service. I place the print between two acid-free papers, and I then loosely roll it and place it inside a home-made cardboard tube. I put that inside a 6" x 6" square mailing tube. This is a very sturdy package. I have had good luck with this way of packaging, and with the US Postal Service. This method saves on shipping costs, both for me and for the customer.
