For your consideration is "Button Up", a OOAK fiber cuff bracelet created from "scratch" without any pattern. I hope you enjoy my cuffs as much as I enjoy creating them. They never turn out as I originally intend them to because I found I love the creative process. I start out with a concept and create my designs as I go along. What fun I have!

Every piece of fabric, labels and beads are handsewn on to each cuff. Nothing is glued on. The majority of my cuffs take an average of two days to make and I love every minute of the process.

I have tons of vintage and contemporary fabrics and I literally have thousands of vintage and contemporary beads to choose from. I've got a huge stash of vintage and new clothing labels too which I incorporate into my original cuffs. I like using clothing labels as part of my cuff designs because they are "little works of art". I started collecting clothing labels about 15 years ago. I knew that one day I would find a way to create something unique from them. I also like to leave frayed edges to add to the overall design of the cuff.

The base for this unique cuff was part of a waistband from a vintage pair of DKNY jeans. The cuff features five labels that blend perfectly with the DKNY leather label. I also used pieces of vintage and contemporary trims to add a touch of sparkle. Since the top of the cuff was already finished, I attached a thick and fluffy trim along the bottom long side. I sprinkled a few black vintage beads and different size vintage crystals from a vintage necklace.

The sturdy cuff closes with a large ceramic button and buttonhole that was part of the jeans.

The total length of the cuff is 10" long and 5-1/2" wide (including trims). The cuff is not adjustable. It will fit a size 6-3/4" to an 8-1/2" wrist.

The pictures show the cuff from three different angles: how it looks from all sides while being worn, laid flat so you can see the design on the entire cuff and one close-up of some of the detail on this cuff bracelet. If you are interested in possibly purchasing this cuff, we'll be happy to provide more close-ups since we could only fit one with this listing.

The underside of the cuff is a rusty red vintage style cotton fabric.
