This needlecase was owned in the early 20th century by G. E. O. Heath, a tailor and costumier from Nuriootpa, an old town in the German settled Barossa Valley in South Australia. This is a rare, historic and decorative item from Australia'a early settlement. Great condition. It measures 4.1 x 2.7 inches (10.5 x 7cm). It is made from card covered with thin leather and metal trim.

Nineteenth century needlecase, Thomas Harper, Redditch, UK.
