No stock photos here... *The pick shown is the actual pick you will receive, both sides of the pick are shown, same design on each side. Made of Amazon Rosewood, a very beautiful, dense & durable exotic hardwood. This premium handcrafted guitar pick was shaped & sanded independently, it features precision laser engraving on each side with the design shown, this just adds to the grip factor of the pick. This pick measures approx. 1-1/4” or 31 mm long X just over 1" or 26 mm wide, it is about 2.9 mm thick at the thickest part of the pick, & tapers down to a thickness of about 1 mm at the tip. The pick is treated with a special oil blend & a natural bees wax paste, after the finishing is done, the design is then laser engraved into the pick. For some guitarists it may take a while to get used to playing with a wooden pick, but every guitar player that I know, simply can't live without their hardwood guitar picks once put to the test. So take your guitar playing to new levels, with the unmatched performance, & the true tones that my handmade Artisan wood picks deliver. They also make unique & exceptional gifts! Thanks for looking!

About the wood used...

AMAZON ROSEWOOD - Dalbergia Spruceana
The tree is native to Brazil in the Amazon River region, & grows throughout South America.
Also referred to as "Jacaranda do para" or "spruceana", this species resembles Brazilian Rosewood (Dalbergia nigra) and is used for similar purposes, though odor and subtle grain characteristics are noticeably different. Rosewoods in general have been prized throughout history because of their richly exotic and vividly contrasting grain. In terms of sheer beauty, few woods can compare to a true Rosewood. In order for a wood to be considered "true" or "genuine" Rosewood, the tree must be a member of the specific genus Dalbergia (Leguminosae family).
