Wouldn't you too like to wrap yourself in a luxuriously big raw silk stole on a special occasion? This design is large and super long- wide enough to reach from the nape of your neck to below your waist on most people, and cross over at the front or drape over your arms; in slubby raw silk with matching or contrast beaded fringe.

I got frustrated with narrow scarves that left my back or shoulders bare, and me chilly, at English weddings, so I started making these extra big silk wraps for me and my friends. I also make them lined and in other sizesand fabrics- take a look in my shop or convo me.

Unlined, this is thin enough to drape nicely but warm enough to keep summer evening draughts away. The heavy fringe stops the ends from flapping inconveniently and adds that extra stylish something. Would look lovely on the bride, the maids or any guest! It is in 100% raw silk, with acrylic or glass fringe typically; about 6'8" (2m!) long by 20" (50cm) wide. Cool iron (avoid the beads!), and dry clean or specialist clean only.

Typical colours in stock are
(1st photo bottom to top):
olive, lime (shot yellow/turquoise), or emerald green;
royal blue, sky blue (lightly shot with black), lavender (shot white/blue), aqua (lightly shot with black), exotic teal (shot green/pink);
fuchsia pink (shot pink/blue), plain white (old stock is SOLD OUT), lipstick pink (shot pink/red);

For white (as in the example shown), ivory, or black, including embroidered silks in these colours please see the wedding wrap listing as the price of silk has gone up and my old stock is used up.
See example trims in 4th & 5th photos; please ask me about stock trims and I can also order or source others. Further options: for contrasting end panels, eg black ends on ivory wrap, add $15.

NOTE since this is a luxury and special item I have given it signed-For shipping which adds extra insurance and tracking.
Why does it cost so much? Raw silk was always expensive but has just gone up steeply in price during the global recession, so I'm afraid I've had to cover the rise. If it's above your budget, why not ask me about a fake-silk version- very similar raw silk slubby finish on the front, some with a satinised back, in polyester dupion; or a smooth and simple shot taffeta version. For the same size and trim style these would cost about $45.
See a listing here for fake silk versions:

PLEASE check with me for fabric availability and the orderbook queue- especially if you are ordering last-minute- BEFORE you order; as at busy times of year I can run out, especially of white silk, and it often takes a few days to get more. Some colours have limited runs so I will be able to offer close matches not identical ones for them. Please bear in mind standard airmail shipping to the US also typically takes about 2 full weeks; you can add priority insured airmail for $8 to take 2-3 days off and add tracking.
