This pretty dress was made in the late 1940s, Early 1950s.

It is a day dress/ house dress that housewives often wore.

A recent acquisition from an Estate Broker who was selling items

from a store that closed many , many years ago.

It is New Old Stock with out tags that was stored in a storage facility with other items from the store for many years.

This dress is a great example of fashion of this era.

Made by "VALLEY FROCKS".

It is made of 100% Seersucker Cotton, great for summer!

The fabric is white with a print of pink roses and green leaves.

Small rounded collar trimmed with pale pink ribbon, ribbon tie.

The ribbon tie color appears to be slightly less bright than the rest of the

ribbon trim in the garment. Does not detract from the beauty of the dress.

Short sleeves, trimmed with ribbon

The hem and side of the dress are also trimmed with ribbon.

Two pockets, trimmed with ribbon.

Stuffed with tissue paper in the first photo for definition.

Color is bright, Fabric is strong.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a flaw that occurred when this item was manufactured.

The pocket on the right side was not sewn to the garment at the side of the pocket .

Please see photo.

Rated as Minor, and the pocket could be sewn in the same manner as the pocket on the left.

Skirt is full, though not a "full circle" skirt.

Zips up the front, metal snap below the collar.

Just gorgeous!

The condition is great! There are no visible stains, tears, or issues.

In Unworn condition, with the tags missing.
