This is a great little spice rack, made up of small glass jars, some white tea stained ribbon, magnets, and bits of scrap metal. It is now available with gold lids rather than the white shown in the picture. Also we have several different varieties of ribbon to choose from and if you wish for a particular lid color or ribbon color, we are more than happy to accommodate your color preferences.

It really is nice and very pleasant. A bit of junk yard chic if you will. Though I promise you nothing in this great little spice rack came from an actual junk yard. We bought the components for other projects around the house from a very nice Viennese hardware store. We did not end up using them, and my husband hates wasting money. I made this first lovely little magnet and scrap metal rack, for my own kitchen as a way to show him that not a penny went to waste. We use it all the time. It is a marvel to many people who see the inside of my home. They tell me it is so unusual and interesting and lovely when full of spices. It is a highly functional little rack and can be made to your specifications, as a double decker or single decker, or even a tripple decker hanging spice rack, (price changes with each level, price offered is for a double decker) With your choice of ribbon color. Even the jar lids can be painted to your specifications. I kind of like the white in my kitchen. But I'll build it and you can add in your own little design features such as the color and size. I can even do a triple decker one if you like. Though the price does vary as the materials do not grow on trees to be harvested by anyone. This was a very fun little project to make and hopefully I will put up a how to guide on my blog once I get it up and running.

The length of this item can vary as it can be as long as the ribbon we build it from. The one in the photograph measures, 14.5 inches or 37 centimeters in length. 6 inches or 15.5 cm between the two levels. Horizontally is it 13.5 inches or 34 centimeters. In depth if you measure from the wall outward to the point furthest out from the wall it is right at about 1. 5 to 2 inches in depth, which is about 4 to 4.5 centimeters. Each jar is right about 2 inches in size. If you are not happy with one that is about this size, I can create one in a size more to your liking at least in length as ribbon is simple to work with.

This item, is also available with round jars of the same size.

We are still just getting started, so please, keep checking back for new bits of awesome.
