Danish Modern, shiny blue enamel on cast iron saute pan with a long teak handle - dating from the late 50's through the 60's. On the outside, Sky Blue (color name) enamel gradating from medium at the top rim to pale on the bottom is in perfect condition, seemingly unused. Wonderful, vintage condition - no chips on the pan, clean white with tiny blue speckles interior - minimal utensil marks on the inside, a 1" tight hairline starting at the rim (opposite the handle, visible in 2nd & 3rd photos). The teak handle is tight and in perfect shape. The bottom is printed, "Descoware, Made in Belgium" and impressed in the cast iron, "23-A, 20L, FE BELGIUM". Great mid century modern cookware, preferred by Julia Childs over Le Creuset. This is not the most common color, so start your Descoware collection or add to it - use it for years and years...

Substantial, weighs 2 1/2 lbs. unpacked.
8" diameter, 4.5" high to top of lid, 16" long including handle
