Botanical illustration of Auntassa, a plant from the Island of Timor. This a facsimile of an botanical drawing from a codex written by a Portuguese priest in Timor in the 18th. Century. The originals are watercolor illustrations on rice paper and are held in an archive in Lisbon. This facsimile edition was produced by the archive in 1969.
