Industrial Anco Bilt Drafting Table, Vintage 1960s Wood Artist's Desk

This is too cool! The real thing, this has two stamps that state this was made by Anco Bilt, in Glendale (Queens) New York. It states Glendale 27 , New York, which dates it pre-1963, before zip codes.

This piece has been in service for 50+ years, and it shows. The top shows that it was used quite a bit- with lots of scratching, ink spots, banged corners, pin holes and dents that show a patina of age and use, but could easily be sanded down and re-stained if that is your wish. And the rest also shows it's age, but to a lesser degree. Again, you will find many scratches which could be fixed with re-staining, though it looks more industrial as it is. The top measures 31" X 23", with the base measuring 22" deep and 26" wide. As photographed, it measures 36" high, but is adjustable, and can move both up and down from there. The table tilts , and all the hardware seems to be cast iron, with large wing nuts holding everything in place. The piece wobbles a bit , though maybe if the nuts are all tightened down more this might be lessened.

You can find similar Anco Bilt drafting tables for mostly over $250 price tags on the internet so this is a great value for a piece that can be used as a table or desk.

Shipping for this item is through Greyhound Package Express. I've used them before, and it is great! You arrange pick up at your nearest local Greyhound station. (This piece is large, and even disassembled US Post Office will charge $120 for parcel post. Local purchases can be picked up to avoid any shipping, or can be delivered for a small fee in the Seattle metro area.

As always, your shipping charge will be what Greyhound prints on the invoice, so if I quoted high, even on multi-item purchases, I will refund you the difference back to your PayPal account. If I quoted low- you've got a deal!
