This is a great retro looking reel to reel tape recorder from the mid-sixties.
Made by Sears, the Silvertone was a top seller when tape recording dictations or conversations was becoming big business. Maybe Richard Nixon considered using a Silvertone in the Oval Office, or maybe the original Mission: Impossible considered the Silvertone (they went with a smaller model that self-destructed). This is just a display item, someone who likes to tinker with electronics might get it to work again. Who knows what hidden conversations are contained on the tape itself?
Awesome piece of retro decor!
Due to it's weight, this would ship Parcel Post to keep costs down.
