This vintage movie camera, the Cine-Kodak Magazine 16, was Kodak's first personal movie camera, produced from about 1945 to 1950. It is equipped with high-quality Ektar lens (25mm f/1.9) with settings from f 1.9 to 22. The camera winds with fold down crank on the side and has a lever in front to run it. The handle folds up and has a two-part viewfinder--one part slides down along the top to adjust the setting. A dial on the side provides guidance for settings of camera speed and f stop based on lighting conditions.

The camera is metal and covered with black leatherette. It comes with the original box, cardboard and also covered with leatherette, with bright yellow and red embossed printing on the outside. Inside, the lid is red with printing ("Capable, Compact, Convenient--and every ounce a Movie Maker"). There's a fitted, velveteen covered try for the camera, which pulls out; presumably the manual was underneath. The manual is missing, but I will include a Xeroxed set of instructions and a bonus brochure, Kodak Photo Information Books.

The camera is in very good condition, with a small amount of crackling on the leatherette, and a little corner damage on the cardboard setting guide on the side. Everything seems to work fine--it winds and runs and all the knobs move, but I haven't tested it with film. The box is musty and has some wear but is basically pretty sturdy.

Size: The camera is 7 1/2 x 4 3/4 x 1 5/8 inches (19 x 12 x 4.2 cm)
