This 1930's vintage bracelet for a small wrist is marked IH Coin Silver, which means Indian Handmade. Coin silver has somewhat less silver than sterling, and was often used by the Native Americans in that era to make jewelry. This piece was made when people were first starting to come to the Southwest as tourists, and bracelets like this are becoming collector's items today. This one is set with a small turquoise cabochon with a tiny chip in it, features stamped eagle and arrow patterns, and is in very good condition with its original patina intact.

This is not a large bracelet - it is 1/2 of an inch wide in the center, narrowing to a bit more than 1/8 of an inch near the ends. It weighs 10 grams, and has an inside measurement of 5 1/4 inches, not including a gap of 1 inch - it is adjustable to a small degree, but I would do it slowly and carefully. This piece is a part of the history of the Southwest and of a different time.
