So the idea is I am obsessed with the idea of stitching the impossible....although this is entirely possible, buy these babies and watch peoples expressions as they try to figure out how a piece of ceramic could be stitched like fabric...this one is stitched she has a bird and is stitched and glazed in red...approx 11cm porcelain...She is a delicate flower & really just exsists to look pretty & be drooled over (although dribbling on her would probably get a bad reaction and fill folk with disdain for you!) So on this particular design I took the function out of the button she wouldn't be what she is without the function! buy her and treat her nice!

I make each button individually myself, this includes forming the designs, smoothing and finishing; biscuit firing, hand painting with glazes and finally a second firing for a stunning finish. The designs are inspired by vintage buttons, fabrics and life around me. I started to make buttons to fulfil my need to have ‘special’ buttons for my own textile work, these are perfect for projects that need something distinctive and unique or just to own as beautiful objects in their own right. I don’t disclose my exact process for making my buttons.

My buyers purchase my buttons for many applications: couture clothing and accessories, serious buttons collections, as decorative objects in there own right on mantel pieces or wall installations.
